I'm pleased to announce that I have received my first fine fedora today. I can't say enough good about Steve Delk's work.

New ribbon?

Is that Steve's Indy Fedora with the newly aquired 'authentic and thicker' ribbon? I've toyed with getting one, but then I get to thinking, why not just go for another original (as I only have two, a grey and a brown).

Guys here keep telling me, "Paddy, go for an older model with a wider brim, your face can take it!!" (or are they tactfully saying I should be hiding my face more? lol!!).

Great lid, Steve's getting that Indy look down to a tee now!

I love the block shape in that second picture... Awesome! It makes me want to order another!
Even beyond the "Indy" fedora, that hat and block shape makes for an awesome 1930's era fedora.
Great hat. Enjoy it!

I completely agree that Steve Delk has nailed the Indy look to the finest detail as well as one of the finest quality hats around.
I also have noticed that this particular style doesn't seem to work well for many people who wear it. You Steve are the exception to that opinion, this hat fits your face to perfection. Good choice!

Thanks all for the compliments. I wore the hat out and about for the first time today, and I still get floored by how well it fits.

Yes, I asked Steve to wait on making mine until it came in. It's the original 39mm dark brown grosgrain with the bound edges. Wonderful ribbon, feels as good as it looks if you know what I mean.
