It will take a while but sure I'll share it here on your post. Thank you.

I'll be sure to take that advice and just go for it!
I think I have decent outerwear and footwear. I need better denim though, I'll need to invest in selvedge denim this year.

Yes I'm excited too. I'm curious about D pockets. They look very cool, I might miss hand pockets though. I noticed that j24's tend to be short so I'll probably get away with just using my pant pocket huh

Some d pockets have a hand warmer pocket behind such as the Tenjin Works version. I do miss them, but I get by using my pant pocket exactly as you said

Edit: as for jeans, I got a few good ones, but realised that I might need to upgrade. I am not interested enough to have a big selection, as opposed to jackets

Wow, that's interesting I'll try to find that jacket. I'll ask Greg if a hidden hand pocket is something he can make for me! Thanks for that info

I hear you about the denim jeans, I'll probably get indigo/black/black indigo in a slim straight cut.

More Shots of J24, 1st picture was taken a few months ago. I’ll upload more photos of my A2 next time. J24 is very versatile, it can go with any light/ dark washed jeans, sneakers or boots. I would consider my style as “Slp + Atheleisure”...

^^ I'm not sure why but I can't view the photo attachment.

Yes, the athleisure look is Laid back cool. I know denim jackets work well with that style, never knew it can work well with a leather jacket as well. Great job

Yes, I’m exploring different ways to mix and match with my jacket.Sure, white T-shirt, black leather jacket and boots are a nice combo, but everyone has been doing that since the 50’s. My goal is to find the perfect balance where I look good enough without people start giving me stares as if I’m impersonating Marlon Brandon in the wrong era. To look pleasing to the eyes, I opt for cuttings that can help me achieve the “inverted triangle body shape”, this shape can help make anyone look masculine and tall.

Now I see it. That jacket looks great when worn zipped up or open. The j24 is versatile like you mentioned and the pattern suits you well. I agree with your take. I do like my leather wear but I like to blend in and just be noticed by some people who are in the know. Also noticed that I don't have anything white in my closet, I hate separating laundry lol

That Johnson leather jacket of yours looks amazing. That with your light washed jeans is the way to go.

Whether 2021 will finally be the year where things restore back to normal, is beyond our control. But let’s celebrate today as we embark on a journey of self-reflection and re-discover those long-term goals in which we’ve yearned to fulfill, so as to avoid sulking over regrets later on in our lives. Contemplating the future without taking actions is mere procrastination, only those who continue striving in the face of hardships and plateaus shall grow and shine.

^^ yes, really like this fit on you.
Thanks Jin! I can’t stress how important proper fit is enough, they can really transform your overall look and making the wearer appears taller and slimmer. My jeans were made in Japan, too. The thing with Japanese Amekaji brand is their clothes are designed and crafted with Asian fit in mind, because we’re their target consumers, so it’s only natural we would look perfect in it. The body length, shoulder width, sleeves length and narrow waist.....It’s almost like I’m wearing a suit.

I get what you mean; especially when looking back at old photos of myself wearing ill fitting clothing is a BIG reminder how important a proper fit is lol

Is amekaji a Japanese brand or is that like a lifestyle? that's certainly one of the reasons why I still don't have a really good pair of pants, i can't find the right one for me. I don't buy pants if I don't try them on in person and i hate doing online shopping for pants (hate dealing with returns). So I hope the local retailers that sell Japanese goods (in Oakland and San Francisco) will open its door to customers sometime this year. Not betting on it anytime soon as covid is really running rampant in California right now.
