The Real McCoy’s J-100 fit comparison between the old model (BJ9110) and new model (BJ19110)

I have a question for this group. I have a RMC j-100 (old fit) in a size 40. It fits good - fairly snug as I have a fairly broad chest and shoulders due to being athletic. I can comfortable wear it over a T-shirt but cant wear a hoody or anything due to the snuggness and the arm holes being too high up towards my armpits. I'm considering getting another one, and can't decide between:
A. Try to find a old-fit in a 42, or
B. Get the new fit in a 40.
Do you guys know how much roomier the new-fit 40 will be compared to the old fit?

Also, I feel like my sleeves are a little short in my current 40. Was thinking that a slightly roomier shoulder will give a little extra sleeve length as well.

I attached a pic of my current for reference

Thanks. I appreciate any help I can get,
Ben

The armholes and sleeve width in the old fit ones is a fair amount smaller than the new, but its not mitigated by the tag size all that much in my experience - I had an old fit 44 and it was pretty roomy in the body, but very tight around the armholes - not so the new fit 44 I got a while later.

Thanks for this. Do you feel like the shoulders were any wider or basically the same?
