Lovely clip. Thanks for sharing!

Personally I'd preferred hearing less of the music and more of the engine, but that's just me. :)

Great clip, so you did the filming? Nicely done. I rode in the backseat of a T-28 (Trojan) on the weekend and was lucky to take the controls for half the time(kept the camera rolling). The owner says they handle very much like the Mustang.

Did I happen to notice 3 different jacket types being worn? ;)

I did the "in flight filming"...I had to shoot myself with a hand held camera acting the part of the pilot. I'm obviously in the back seat and not flying the thing. lol Spent almost an hour in this original 352nd Aircraft. This P51D is the original Miss Helen and was painted back to it's original colour scheme especially for this documentary. The sign writers paint was not even dry as the panel was screwed back onto the aircraft and we took off..I'm proud to say that I was the first passenger to fly in her with her back in original WW2 spec.

On top of that,I got to wear all my original flying gear...I was sooooo Happy, as this was one of my life long ambitions.

Best part was the flypast…..15ft full bore…and then into a steep climb.

I had “P51 Mustang, Cadillac of the sky!!!!!”…. Swimming through my head for the whole fight.

Now this sequence is an edited together version of all the reconstruction clips from the P51 Documentary that we shot back in 2000 (I think)…Don’t know whos done it, or even if it’s legal…but I really enjoyed it!!

The clips don’t cut too well as I believe there are three different stories being told here.(Hence the jacket changes)

Most of the pilot uniforms are mine…Any one spotted the big mistake?

Cheers ..
