On Friday I went to Temecula which is about midway between LA and San Diego to check out some of the Antique Stores there. They have about 10 in a small area. Temecula is a touristy town with a cross between the "Old West" theme and that of Plam Springs, it invites you to come and enjoy but leave a few of your hard earn dollars with us. It is also a white wine area with the wine tastings etc.
Anyway, a lovely young lady asked me about my Akubra Squatter and we got into a conversation about vintage. It turns out she and her husband run a place called BFR Retro which has some reproductions of retro fashions.
