Monster Bash Videos ... show us how you bash!!

yeah the strat has a lower crown than the Alessandria

before you pop out the bash try pushing up the inside of the diamond with the back of your hand from inside the hat and put some steam on it while you hold it there ... that often takes the tip from hitting your head in these situations
+1. All of my hats must have that center bump/hump/bubble/whateveryoucallit on the crown or my apparently enormous cranium won't fit in them. Even then there's maybe 1/8" of space between my head and the liner.

The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) has issued a warning: Please be advised that the frequent reading of this threads title may potentially cause severe and harmful Involuntary Musical Imagery (INMI.)
It put the image of a drummer smacking the monster bash on the large symbols at the high climax of a song AKA John Bonham (Led Zep) Moby Dick (The Song Remains The Same live album) or something.

Came across this video of how they make hats at Muhlbauer. While not exactly a video on how to bash a hat as they are using a block with a specific crease in it already they do showcase some great skills and things I would be interesting in trying out. Note how they steam a cloth to smooth out the felt. Also I would like a hand iron like they use.

Okay... gave it a shot.

I love All the Vids ! They're Great ! I love the hat on your noggin Alan (what is it ?) , and the 5X Vintage Stetson you're bashing . I'm with you on letting the Hat speak to you , and having various style creases and mix it up , but having a particular style that's "you" is KOOL , too .
The Cattleman works Great , too , along with the Diamonds . And I don't know how I missed Esther's vid the first time , but it was Great , too (what accent ?) . I've been told I have an accent , but I can't hear it . Great Bash Vids ! We need more , and tours from the Real (you folks) Collectors . Many of you (you know who you are) have AWESOME Hat Collections . I like ID , size , colors , etc. , it would be Great . Thanks for your info Esther on that beauty , especially the natural Beaver felt Hat . I can see why you model , you're stunning , great screen presence , too , so comfortable in front of the camera . Really everyone are naturals , including Athena . I love these Monster Bash Vids !

Thank you Michael.
The natural beaver is by far my favourite. It just handles anything you throw at it.
And for sone funny reason it doesn't feel like wind affects it much, it just sits on my head and when a gust of wind passes it just sits there unaffected. Other's would be fine as well, but I would have been aware of it.

And I'm not a model btw.
My boss just uses me for photo's for his etsy account from time to time.
They did ask me when I was about 16 ish but I like my pasta to much.
Told them to eff off to be honest...
But thank you anyway
