Last night, i took my entire family, six, 14, my wife and I and my 83 year old mother to see this new movie momma mia, actually a nice little movie considering what pulp comes out from hollywood. Now its not kane or the maltese falcon but hey that was the golden age and now its all fluff or pulp and for today this was a little gem . The big names in this was timothy dalton , of james bond fame, and the other big star was mereyll streepe , not spelled right I know, havent had enough coffe yet. The setting on a little island off greece was lovely, how charming for a modern movie that I can actually take my entire family and not have to clamp my hand over my little ones eyes. Now not to say there wasnt any hints about sex, or making fun of it, but this isnt 1940 and peoples standards arent what they used be. NOTHING IS , but I actually liked no fighting and no sex scenes not that I dont like sex, well you know but hey it was a musical and I have encouraged my children to love musicals, and they love such muscials such as annie get your gun, my fair lady, the sound of music, state fair, and much more. nOW I dont think that timothy dalton should get a record contract but hey he did the effort and it was funny to watch. Good little family , ps if you hate abba stay home. 59Lark.:rage:

oops wrong james bond actor

Thanks for the correction, am always posting these things either really early or really late and the punctation and the gramar and more suffer. The kids bought the sound track at the price club and all the way home from the big city we listened to the abba sounds of momma mia, a great little movie. 59Lark.
