I have to thank all you men of the lounge for inspiring my son who went with me to a thrift today and is now a proud owner of some blazers (two of which are vintage) as well as a couple of hats.

He thought you guys looked so cool in your vintage clothes that he wants to try out the looks at school. He searched high and low for a suit like Senator Jack's on page one, but couldn't find one. Surprise, surprise. I told him we would never find suits like that at Savers and to start thinking small for the time being. lol

I know! He is a little odd like me though so I am not surprised. He has no problem standing out even at the awkward age of 14. He was skateboarding with his Scottish Hat and tweed blazer yesterday and some punk rolled down his window and called him a very un PC word that basically means fairy. My son looked at him and told him he should talk since he is driving a mini-van. lol . I told him he needs to watch himself or he can get beat up, but he is certainly good at come backs. .

I tried to convince him to buy some bowling shoes but he said it wouldn't go with his outfits. :eusa_doh:
