I'm pretty sure I'm going with Bone, myself - I've seen all three felts and the Bone and Silvermist are especially beautiful, but Bone speaks to me. That's the Whippet I've had inside my head for years.

As for ribbon, maybe rust - though Michael only has the 1.5" left. Trying to decide how it's going to look with that width. Rodolfo's dimensions look about perfect to me apart from that.

I've had Sand , Sahara , or SilverBelly in my mind , too , for #3 . Plus thinking about a Black or Dark (Charcoal) Gray for the Black Suit times , but SilverBelly could cover that in my mind . Just not quite so Formal , but I need to consult my advisor , or one of you , or Both .

For a darker one Black Cherry is beautiful, it is more "alive" than Charcoal, 100% formal but the shades of red make it look alive... i will go for Black Cherry...

Good afternoon folks. Congrats to all of those creative minds and to Michael for the recent creations. I have been catching up on reading the postings and you have interesting hats coming.

I too stand in line again. I expressed my initial desire to look into having a gray beaver felt Wanderer inspired fedora with a charcoal ribbon, wind cord. In the waiting time, I have been considering having a bound edge/ribbon like a vtg. Stetson Vogue. Pic below -

On my consideration list is the same gray felt with a ribbon treatment like below.

For reference my most recent hat is below.

I have not shared these with Michael yet. I wish to bake out my "need" for a bit longer. Dreaming about a gray hat.

Beautiful Hat Eric ! Its good to let it slowly bake , then when you've cooked it to perfection you'll be confident you made the right choice . I baked the 2 5/8" going to the 2 3/4" on the Dark Brown weeks , told Michael , and he said , No trouble , or rush , I could change even color , he didn't mind . He could have the Beaver Hat Body for later , if I changed color . He's really understanding and rolls with it . Being my first Customs , I'm ... constantly rethinking . But thankfully , I don't voice every thought , or change till its done . But he said he'd check when the time comes . I don't even know the process , but I know you do . And you have a lot of favorite styles in Classics . That Dark Moss of yours is Super to me ! Michael hasn't let anyone down , followed their choices , and advised , but lets the costumer make the final decision , unless its given to him to make . Great Guy !

Sir; Tough question as it is so much personal taste. I do love the black cherry felt. I would hasten you to also consider the beaver blue smoke. The bluemist is very versatile. Do go and check out Rabbit's color posts on the Fawcett thread it is an excellent reference.
