So I don't think this has been summed up in this thread but which American labels span which eras?

So there was no variation in the UHCMW stamp thereafter?I believe "United Hatters" is pre-34, and changed to "United Hatters Cap and Millenery Workers" after '34.

Good day
I have a hat, I was wondering if someone can date base on sticker, what era this hat is from? Thankshttps://ibb.co/ZT11zcg
Thanks, here is a picture of it https://ibb.co/8cRL0s2There is a little printer’s “bug” or blimp-shaped mark there in the top left hand corner of the union label. If it is parallel to the top of the tag it is a mid-40s or earlier hat. If the bug is diagonal, the hat is probably post-mid 40s.
See post 52 on this thread for more details from Buler.

I wish and hope it was after mercury era. I am not sure I feel comfortable wearing itParallel. Based on the union tag you can probably figure the hat is between 34-46.
I don’t know if the Penny’s Marathon thread can narrow it down more.
