Kehoe jackets are so underrated! My favorite Cafe racer jacket. There is almost no information online about these Detroit made jackets....wonderful specimen you have there. This is mine:

That looks awesome dude! Congratulations on a terrific fit.

As has been said, you might want to try higher rise means to give you a bit more confidence in the look of an outfit, but the jacket is great.

Thank you! I will definitely try some out over the weekend. Appreciate everybody's input! You guys are incredibly helpful.

Just purchased a vintage Schott 618! My first real leather jacket after deciding to upgrade from my H&M faux leather. I love it, but the length seems so short! What are your thoughts regarding the fit of the jacket? Seems like there's some experience in here, would love your input!

That's exactly how it's supposed to look. Congrats.

My Vanson America Hybrid. With the stripes and the Vanson logo, feels like I'm making a bit of a statement, lol! Got it custom-made some years ago after ordering an AR3 jacket and being not quite happy. Returned it and Vanson phoned me back saying they could do a custom one for me, ended up with this. Pretty happy with it. This jacket has option to install armor pads inside - back, shoulders, elbows - but they"re not installed in these pics. The pads are the typical thick black ones Vanson seems to install on their armored jacket options. They feel reassuringly sturdy but are quite bulky and you can see a mile away that the pads are in the jacket, so I install them only when I'm doing serious riding. The Vanson collaboration jackets with UnionGarageNYC use softer, more pliable yellow D3O armor, definitely better option.

@regius Route 66... I'm very interested in this jacket, as I'm thinking of getting one this year. Great pictures! Could you send some measures, especially comparing the Pit vs. Waist measures? I hear it fits pretty tight in the waist. THANKS!

Brown FQHH. I highly https://www.wto.org/english/thewto_e/whatis_e/. Recommend. This is tagged 40, which is scarily small as a tag size, as I wear 44, but the pit is 24”, shoulder is 19.75”, so I thought that’s good enough. The jacket end up just right,
Shoulder fits right, sleeves are perfect, front chest a tad narrow if I want to puff my chest out, but forward reach is not a problem. Standing akimbo is a bit hard right now but may get easier as the leather softens. Waist is also perfect, without cinch, it sits just below the belt at about 38” circumference.

The waist is pretty tight, true, but they should be able to customize.

Sounds like it's sized much like the other 50s Aeros. EXperience suggests to me that 50s jackets in general, especially bike jackets, were worn a bit roomier, presumably to allow for layering and such in the days when people only tended to on one jacket... It also gives that 'heroic silhouette' that you see on Brando in The Wild One - big shoulders, tight little waist.
