Nice to have an email update about the order delays.

It mentions original order timescales of 8-10 weeks, when I seem to recall 6-8 were the timescales given, but as I hit week 9 myself I can live with 12-14 this time and its good to be told there may/will be a delay.

Theres some great looking items on the site and I'd love to put in another order, I hope once this one arrives, and the order to delivery timescales work themselves out, I'll feel able to.

Having ordered back at the start of November, and since spoken to Roman about the amount of orders and subsequent backlog they have, I'm not expecting anything until end of February/start of March.

I am on week 10 now if we take out xmas and newyear (i read they had the holidays off) and I got a notice of one of the orders had partially shipped. I got 3 orders in there.

I know they are swamped and trying to set-up an additional factory so I will let them work. I check instagram from time to time and they post pics of done clothes all the time so its going forward.

I placed an order in November for a jacket and a tote bag. The tote bag was supposed to be a Xmas present for the GF, and when I placed the order, it said estimated shipping was "2-3 weeks." Well, when it didn't show up in 3 weeks, I called and was told that "we're sewing totes tomorrow" and that I should have it before Xmas. On the Tuesday before Xmas, when it didn't arrive, I called back and the guy who answered my call said there was no way I would get it before Xmas, and that I should have the tote "in a couple of weeks." And then -- and this is the best part -- when I told him it was supposed to be a Xmas present, he told me to "go to the mall and buy her some perfume instead." Really?

Needless to say, that "couple of weeks" has come and gone, and still nothing. I don't care about waiting for the jacket as it was just for me, but the tote bag issue really annoyed me, especially the "go to the mall" comment.

I'm not sure why I haven't cancelled my order. I guess I'm curious about the goods I will receive. Think I'll get the tote in time for the GF's birthday in June?!!?? I have my doubts.

I've got bored waiting and have asked for a refund of most of my orders. Still no reply though.

It did occur to me to do that too, but it's slipped so far to the back of my mind that I'm happy to be pleasantly surprised when they turn up. Roman was pretty apologetic when I spoke to him, but I do think that they've over-extended themselves with all these deals.
I would be interested in an update and some reassurance from them, though, that we will see our orders.

I don't get the sense there's anything 'going on', at least not at the moment. [huh]
I wonder if Gustin are beginning to see a re-uptake in their jeans...

I see they are still having new '50% off offers' every few days.

I did look on the other forum linked in this thread and saw some people have got deliveries, though it seems to be people who ordered around early October time who are just receiving orders or part of their orders so that's what, four months-ish.

I'm not sure what to do either, I've considered the refund and then contacting the bank route but I'm still hopeful they will deliver. Its just disappointing that the dates keep slipping from what keeps being promised and if they'd said it would be this long from the go then I probably wouldn't have got involved. Its frustrating having things paid for on order and then having to consider buying other things until they eventually arrive.

To be fair I think my optimism is being mostly propped up by the fact there are a few other items I would very much like to order from them, so I hope they can turn things around and start producing to promised timescales.

The basic idea of a outfit "running 50% off sales" while they've unfullfilled orders from LAST year doesn't fill me with optimism. When you take new orders to finance the filling of previous orders who's funds are long gone, you NEVER catch up and you never make good. And when the music finally stops there's some poor schlubs out in the cold left holdin' the bag. Seen it a thousand times if I've seen it once. They don't start out to fail or cheat, they just have no idea as to the "realities" of running a business.

They're looking to get another factory in LA, which would help a lot, but that won't be an imminent help to the backlog.

I've just lost my enthusiasm for my orders and I don't care how cheap their jeans and shirts are. It's one thing to wait 4 or 5 months for an $1100 Aero at the height of their problems, but it's another thing entirely to wait that long for a $50 pair of jeans or a shirt.

Still no response to my request for a refund.

Yeah its a little sucky, but for me the jeans actually fit and feel better then my Gustins, and I cant find shirts like this with snaps and this level fabric anywhere near the price. Gustin shirts dont fit me good, so are there any other options for selvedge shirts?

I have more than enough jeans and two more from G on the way, so am happy if I can cancel the LD ones. I can understand the interest in the customisation of the LD shirts at their price, but again have many more than I can deal with, so am happy to lose theirs.

I've also got an order in with http://www.cianofarmer.com/shop.html which I'm expecting within a couple of weeks, so we'll see how reliable they are. They also have crazy 30oz canvas jeans that I could be tempted with once I see the swatch and the fit of the other ones.

I actually need more shirts so am really looking forward to mine. I got 2 h-bones on order, a japaneese chambray, an IxI, a wool and a waxed wool and I kinda want them now to use directly.

I like the fact I can get them in my prefered length, chose between some substantial but not too crazy thick fabrics, and the selvedge details inside front and inside at wrists.

Compared to G, the LD shirts look much more substantial and have countless customisation options, and at such a low price they were a great buy. I didn't order anything special though, which is why I'm relaxed about cancelling.

I do want to keep the denim vest, though, as I can't see that anywhere else with customisable options.

I have enough blue denim, so am waiting for the red ones from Ciano, and hope they're the same as the G Oxbloods. What with my white, brown and green ones from G, biker boots and leather jackets, my wife thinks I should be joining the Village People.

My thing is this. I don't mind waiting 6-8 weeks for this price. But after that, it should be obvious to them that they SHOULD NOT me taking anymore orders. It just seems reckless to do so until you fulfill at least 75% of your orders. Then open the books back up.
