Sweetfights, which collar style did you go with? The Sidewinder collar or what they call a dress collar?

I was worried about the Sidewinder type collar being too long but Langlitz said they can pretty much do anything and make the points a bit smaller. I am not a big fella at only 5' 8" so a longer collar point looks a bit big.

The pin stripes beg for at least a slightly angled single point.

To me this is the perfect Langlitz.
I love the back, the gussets seem much smaller than what they currently do, and the pin striping goes much higher and closer to the yoke/shoulders. If i ever get a Langlitz i am going over there with these pictures to get measured and fitted into a copy of this one.

I looked, I shouldn't have... I kinda wanted one, now i really want one...
Their website is so much better then the "real" one! Real pictures instead of drawings? That's madness!

To me the fit to yoke looks a bit too super hero costume, i think i would go standard.

The super hero look was only evident to me with the Three pointed rear yoke. It took me a little time to see the big difference a single point yoke made.

The long pinstripes are much better looking to me. These are what langlitz considers more vintage or classic in the pinstripes. I do also like the look of those gussets.

I am telling everyone- the "fit" of the fully customized Langlitz is so amazing. You put on the jacket and it just feels so right.
And as the leather molds to you it just gets better. I'm still sad I let my Aero Steer 30's half belt go because it fit so well and the leather was going to mold and wear so well but then I put on my Langlitz and the sadness is replaced......

Looking at langlitz Japan is like driving Excalibur right through the heart of your wallet, if you remove it it will leave the entrails of credit cards scattered across the floor. Godspeed.

Oh and PS the fit to yoke looks a bit nicer imho.

LOL you crack me up brother. Funny and true!!!

4 inch dress collar is on my order sheet. I really did not know there was a difference. I always liked the Lost World collars and prefer larger. That is what I did not like about most Aero collars- too small.
I am 5 feet 9 inches.
But I did order the mutton for the colder weather here in Canada. Please it looks damn cool!!!!!!

And that is what I have on the way with standard pads in dark brown.

Nice. Please post pics the moment you unbox that thing.

For my non-riding jacket I was thinking about a dark tan if they have available. Like this butterscotch colour.

I have no idea what colours they offer yet or if it is all chrome tanned or veg ect. I assume all chrome.

Call them up and ask for samples. They have tan and rust. The rust is like a darker tan. The "colored" leather is much softer, more supple than the chrome tanned regular black and brown. They have some very interesting colors. For riding I went with medium black regular chrome tanned. My sidewinder on the way is the softer feeling dark "colored" brown. Definitely call them up for samples- you really have to see, feel and smell the samples, then you will have a really good idea of where you want to go.
