Well, thanks! I've been doing a lot more mind cultivation than closet/style cultivation since I've been abroad. I figure my brain's likely to last longer than whatever I look like, so I place higher stock in it.

Indeed--especially since books travel easier than "stuff", and it takes the mind a lot longer to go. Should we take this to PM?;)

EDITED TO NOTE: I only travel with "expendable" paperbacks--but I usually pack quite a few...

Hemingway supposedly travelled with a suitcase full of harcover books. Wonder how much it weighed? Hope the handles were strong

.

Yeah, I don't travel with books. The library is my best friend here.

Sorry I've driven this thread off topic! Back to the pictures...

I just had my son take a pic of me with what I am going to wear tomorrow! I will be wearing a blue cami underneath of course. ;).

Pardon the hair and lack of makeup. It's the end of the day and this is what I look like after a 10 hours of crunching numbers. lol

Thank you - it's been driving me nuts trying to remember every tequila-soaked roadtrip between 1983 and 1989 (with a few more sprinkled in during the 1990's)... The southwest is littered with big concrete lizards!

BTW - The pics are gorgeous... Well, the subject is gorgeous, and I am certain that the pics don't begin to do you justice... ;)

Thank you for the sweet compliments. And I was glad to help out.

You guys are too nice! I am terrible for pulling ridiculous poses in photos so it's unusual to have flattering pictures of me!

And Daisy, if I had 50 more years to work on my look it wouldn't be as authentic as yours or most of the other gals here, unless you let me come and live inside your wardrobe that is!

Kimberly, I covet your cheekbones!

It's in Arizona along highway 40 on the California side of Holbrook but I can't remember exactly where. There are several dinosaurs on both sides if the 40.
