I'd rather have a gun like Rose McGowan in Grindhouse. :( Wait, I would actually rather BE Rose McGowan.

But in the meantime, I suggest you read some Hardy Boys to work on your detective skills, you missed that vital clue (left leg)! I picked up on that right away thans to my Nancy Drew Mysteries*!!

*Sadly, I am not exaggerating... That is pretty much all I read!

Oh, but you're just missing out on SOOO much! Check out the Hard Case Classics series if you're ever in Waldenbooks, lots of vintage crime novels reprinted and some newer authors who write in a noir style like Max Allan Collins.

As far as weapons go: no offense, Miss Lolita, but I think you look better with your natural legs as-is.;) Besides, M16/AR15-based stuff is just SOOO ugly, at least in this shooter's eyes...;)

Hahaha I haven't been able to graduate to adult reading yet... hence the Nancy Drew books. lol But I will keep that in mind next time I am in a Waldens! Maybe peek inside and see how hard it will be to read it. :)

Bwhahaah... True, I would much rather keep my leg,but a gun of sorts would be nifty. Although, I still cannot seem to figure out how she got it to fire... [huh] :p lol

Hey, don't rip on yourself like that--OTOH, I was only a couple graduating-classes behind you and my HS's library was only stocked with kiddie-lit:rolleyes: --not even anything on the level of The Hunt for Red October or Jurassic Park! (And they wondered why I always insisted on bringing my own mini-library every day!  lol )

Probably what they woulda done was rigged it to actuate off a stub of a lower-leg tendon or something, or an electrical trigger rigged into the nerves. (You don't even wanna speculate about my contingency-plans for prosthetics--let's put it this way, it'd be hardware more befitting my "software".)

Sorry, guns on dames always look better in the hands than surgically attached. So, ever done anything with a Chicago piano?;)

Amazing shots...Great style, Thora! :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

Thanks, Spitfire :) You have some pretty nifty style there yourself, you remind me of the first mate on a tug that I worked on years ago .. (during my "who cares about the job as long as it's an adventure" phase) He was stern but ever the gentleman .. I don't suppose you smoke a pipe and occasionally wear a pea coat, do you?

:D

OOH is that the latest Simplicity pattern in the flesh? It's amazig, not nearly as poofy as I thought!

You ladies are all amazingly stunning and stylish. I am so envious of the outfits!

FONT="Georgia"]Barbigirl, That old boyfriend of yours that made you go stag to your prom was one mighty fool and a llamo cheapscape!![/FONT]

You must have been a beautiful baby
You must have been a wonderful child
When you were only starting to go to kindergarten
I bet you drove the little boys wild.
And when it came to winning blue ribboms
You must have shown the other kids how.
I can see the judges' eyes as they handed you the prize
You must have made the cutest bow.
You must've been a beautiful baby
Cause baby look at you now!

Awww Thanks Rafter. I love that song and I used to own a 1907 Victrola and had that album. Yeah, the old boyfriend thing, he was like 10+ years older and it would have been seriously frowned upon. (But I was completely clueless at the time)

I was wondering if someone would notice! Yep, it's that pattern, and I just didn't have time to make the bolero yet. I made both the skirt and top Friday, and the skirt was easy-peasy. The top took me a little longer because it is completely lined, and even though I messed up a wee bit, it still turned out ok. We sure had fun yesterday! That hat I am wearing was a PERFECT match to my outfit, but alas-at $69, more than this po' redhead could afford.
