Hey R! I was messing around with HP Image Zone and your picture and I came up with this impressionistic inage from your photograph.

Those new pictures look fantastic, I must say that is one of my favorites I've seen on the Lounge.

Thank you HDRnR and Dean.
That was what I was after in this hat. I did not want a 'fancy' fedora. As in the photo of my granddad I was after an everyday type hat.
Mike listened to what I was after and he more than delievered.
I have a few vintage fedoras, and let me tell you this TVA rates right up with them in terms of looks and feel.
You can be sure that when cool weather hits the South again I will have this great fedora on!

Looks like there will be a few more of these type hats coming out in the next few weeks, the FL members have been keeping my e-mail's jumping, just wanted to say thanks to all that gave input on the TVA hat.

I'll get better as time goes on and the hats I build.

Thanks,

Mike

RBH, that is a beautiful hat. You pay your grandfather a great tribute by wearing that fedora, I dare say he would be proud of it.

RBH - Thank you for linking to this thread. Your "TVA" is now probably one of my favourites (certainly my favourite look behind a couple of different Raiders bashes), and I am so glad to have found it. Majormoore's done a fantastic job. If I could afford another custom hat this year, I'd be giving him a call. As it is, I am going to try my best to emulate this bash in whatever fed I find myself getting next.

I hope that's OK - I don't want to do a disservice to you, mm, or your grandfathers.

Superb job. Just superb.

Great looking hat. It almost made me cry. That's my Papa's hat. Looks just like it.

You look splendid in it, too. Yes, you get in a great hat. A good one sits on you.

If you look at the Buckaroo Hatters website, you'll see a picture of RBH modelling what I assume is this hat. It shows it a little better, and still looks great.
