I've been told that I look like Peter Sellers by many people. Fifteen pounds ago we were identical.
Years ago when I was young and wearing dark rimmed glasses I was at a gathering at my friends house and his girlfriend's mother kept staring at me. After a while she announced to everyone there that I looked like a movie star but she couldn't remember the name. After a few names of handsome movie stars were rejected, and my elation was at a high, she remembered who I looked like..........Woody Allen !!

I once took one of those photo scans that told me I was 60% similar to Douglas Fairbanks. That was good enough for me in terms of looks. As to my attitude, it sometimes lapses into Bogart's onscreen persona.

Rosie, you must be tired of hearing this, but yes the family resemblance is there. Gorgeous genetics! I don't look like anyone at all with the exception, when I am thin and put my glasses on, of Eddie Reader (Scottish singer), and even then I'm not convinced. And going back a year or so - Yes, Scotrace, I can see those resemblances. We must meet up some time. lol

Thanks guys I guess we're alike in stature, but I never see the resemblance. Dana (Latifah) looks A LOT like another cousin of mine but I'd have to go digging for her picture somewhere.

How did you get Mystery blown up like that? That's the technical bit. On the personal bit - Mystery, lovely and very "somebody" I haven't quite identified yet. It's the eyes. Must go and peruse the DVD collection - it'll come to me.

I did one of those photo scan things and got an 82% with Rita Hayworth. Um, yeah, okayyy... lol

I'm not really sure about golden era celebs. I have gotten Sherilyn Fenn, Janine Turner, and Lea Thompson (particularly from the first Back to the Future film). I think people either key in to short hair, or red hair, because I don't think I look like any of them!

What do yall think? This picture is about 5 years old, but it was the only one I could find with a good clear face shot where I wasn't wearing sunglasses or otherwise obscured.

Not from Golden Era, but people always tell me I look like Dr. House in "House." Resemblance looks harder on camera. On video it's kind of weird. Also note, I am at least 20 years younger than the guy. (I am 29)
