I think you're right Rue. Bit of trivia...Ava Gardner was from Smithfield, NC, about an hour and a half up the road from me. They have a museum dedicated to her life, and she is buried at a local cemetary.

Yes. It was a number of years ago when she died. I remember that a story in our local paper said there was one wreath at the funeral for which the card simply said "From Frankie". Guess no last name was needed for that one!
