I love breakfast bars! My mum always said as long as you have somewhere to sit up and eat it's good. I've made do with a picnic table with a cloth slung over it before when i had a tiny flat.

I don't own a big flatscreen telly - i find them really ugly. I know i'm missing out when i watch films...

I do own a microwave though, my parents couldn't believe i didn't have one and bought one. It sits in my utility, glaring at me like a silver monster! I only use it for putting dishcloths in to sterilise them!

Microwaves were around in the 40s believe it or not. Even before Spencer's discovery radar tech in England had used radar arrays to boil water...

Hmm.
I don't own a:
Car (I'm a pedestrian, and I'm proud of it!)
iPod (or any "i" item)
Facebook or Tweeter account (and I still live)
X-box, Nintendo or any other gaming "thingy"
Credit card (but I do have a library card) :)
Micro wave
.. and I do not own anything made out of plastic (containers, cups, those little chairs, flower pots..). I just don't like it.

Paper tweet! :)
What can I say: I'm a library mouse.. I like how they keep all those books in shelves, I like the smell in there.. and I like the quiet time.

But!
I forgot one important thing I do not own:
Sneakers. I stopped wearing them as soon as I stopped having gym classes. :)
Shoes are so much more comfortable.. and more beautiful. My feet look odd in sneakers, and I think I walk funny (I know I feel funny wearing them).

Interesting you say that... I have a few pairs of Chuck Taylor-type boots (stopped buying Converse when Nike bought them out), which I keep for casual Summer wear; I appreciate them when it gets really hot down here in July / August. For the most part, though, I am much more comfortable in a pair of sensible, leather-soled shoes.

Hmm...I'm a Texan as well and one thing I don't own is a pair of cowboy boots. I think perhaps this may be a sin.

I don't think I've owned a pair of cowboy boots since I was 6. I remember a distinct feeling of discomfort. YES! I'm sure it's very sinful of us not to own them. lol

I can't stand sneakers, but I have to walk long distances & my feet don't like walking in pretty shoes. *sigh* LOVE my pretty shoes...:p

Explains why I didn't get raptured the other weekend...

I also don't own a working stove as of last night apparently.
