Really ? Rats if it was at 2 1/2 that would be a good one to copy, but I don't think I can pull off one that short. It seems a little wider but I guess that's just his thin face.

You could still copy it.. 2 1\2 is a nice enough brim and looks good on you.
I have always liked a 2 3\4... but I have come to really like a 2 5\8s.
If the crown is right the short[er] brim works in my opinion.

Indycop, approach that hat like any other. You want to copy the look, not the stats. A 2 1/2" brim with a 5 3/4" or 6" crown would probably do it for the big and/or tall gents.

Yup, it's all about proportion. I have a 5 3/4" open crown with a 2 3/8" brim. I was going for an early 30's look and it fits me very similar to they way Depp's hat fits him.

For IC I bet a 6" open crown with 2.5" would suit his size and the proportion would give the same look.
