Nick Nolte also rocked the "Indy" look in Cannery Row.

About 4 years ago, I got "Good Morning Dr. Jones." from 14 and 15 year old sisters. I was wearing a Stetson Temple, and a Blue 4H logo hoodie. I didn't see the whole connection, but I probably won't wear the temple with a brown A-2.

The Temple was, for a time, the officially licensed Indy Fedora.

I have no problem with Indiana Jones, I also like that grey travel fedora he's rocking. My leather bike jacket no longer fits & my boots are long gone, so I'm not too worried about being called Indy. But that's me.

I was just surprised about the Jurassic Park comment. :( But yeah, if I had on my photog vest & my bush hat then I could see it. But the kid went to a pretty far stretch, LOL Maybe he figured since no leather jacket & message bag the Indy comment wouldn't fly. (shrug)

Ehh, I remember the Freddy Kruger Nightmares, I was young enough that those & Hellraiser gave me nightmares for awhile. So I'd prefer to not hear the Freddy references, so any other comments are a kudos to me. :p

I get more Indy comments when I wear my gray, 2" brim Dobbs than when I wear a more accurately shaped, brown 2.5+" brimmed, straight-sided fedora.

Most people don't know what they're looking at.

I've never had an Indy comment, and I started wearing hats every day about 4 months ago. I also have 5 leather flight jackets and 5 pairs of Alden Indy boots of different types. Maybe it's because I've never worn a fedora with a leather jacket! It's either/or for me. With leather jackets, I've been wearing newsboys or flat caps....

Hah! On a good day without all these fun accessories, I might look like Bruce Wiilis. On a bad day, Mr. Magoo! But never Harrison Ford!

At least one of your hats looks like Clint's in The Good, Bad & Ugly or High Plains Drifter. Not Indy!

I once had some bright spark whistle the theme to ' The Good ,The Good & The Ugly' as I walked past them in a long oilskin drover's coat & a wide brimmed waxed leather hat one nice snowy afternoon; He thought he was being clever so I didn't want to shatter his illusions by informing him that not only was my garb Australian & not American (or Italian) but also Clint has never worn this outfit either on or off the screen.
He may of thought I looked like a donk, but I wasn't the one standing there wet & shivering.
