Do you envy the pacific northwest right now?

Right at this moment, my envy know no bounds. I mean, 57 degrees? Heaven

Don't I know it, we just visited Southeastern Alaska by way of Vancouver, BC.

Standing on Mindenhall Glacier was a big difference from the 90's we're experiencing here in South Florida.

Hehehe! I don't envy anyone's weather living along the Southern California coast. It's the best Mediterrenean-style climate outside of the Med!

Doesn't it rain like 9 months out of the year there? I like the heat, keeps my knees from hurting.
It really is amusing how people view the northwest! Yes, compared to a lot of places it does rain sometimes a lot..but really, the weather is very mild. Everything's green and absolutely beautiful:D

That's what I loved about the San Francisco Bay area as a kid. Fairly cool year-round, almost never really cold or really hot.

That Four Seasons thing? What's that all about? Highly over-rated. Give me a moderate two seasons, Spring and Fall, and if ya gotta have Summer, the dry heat , Please!

Well, if it makes you feel any better Baron, we did get some triple digits going on here for about a week or so :) anything over 95 degrees is just too hot! even though we usually don't have too bad of a time with heat, with it being that hot for that long...it really never got a chance to cool down at night so the kids got so miserable and couldn't sleep :( but, probably won't get much sympathy, huh? :D you all just need to move over here [huh]

I left New York this morning where it has been hot and muggy. Right now, I'm in Phoenix. It's as hot as h@!! here. It's nonsense about this being a "dry heat." Hot is Hot.

Here in Northern Colorado we're back to mid-80's days, which seem positively balmy by comparison with the recent heat. Nights drop into the 50's and cool off beautifully. I hope that all of you find similar comfort soon!;)

I moved to the Oregon Coast after living in Texas for 8 months and I can't seem to get adjusted to the temperature change. Right now it is August 4th at 10 am and I am freezing!

Brooksie, what part of Oregon do you live in? This time of year is perfect to me. The mornings and evenings are cool while during the day the high stays around 75-80 degrees...you'll get used to it, hopefully :)

In Oregon you don't Tan...you Rust !!!
lol hey now! not true! not true at all!! I just happen to have a great tan right now...it does help also that I go out boating a lot :) The thing is you have a natural tan for 3 months and then the rest of the year, if you still want that bronzy glow, you've got to either do self tanners or go to tanning booths
