Now patiently (sort of) waiting for 2 AeroLeather jackets..

1 x Sheene in tobacco badalassi with a few modifications and 1 x Windward in brown FQHH also with a few modifications.

14 to 16 week wait!
Post some pics when they arrive. Particularly the Windward. I’m curious about the mods!

I will do.
On the Windward I stayed with the alpaca lining and storm cuffs but added an inch to the length and added an Irvine collar, making it more of a Winter jacket.
I ordered the Windward once, had to return it as it was comically short despite the extra length i had requested. Real shame, I love the design.

I was fortunate enough to be able to visit Aero and try one on.
All my trousers, chinos and jeans are high waisted and wide legged and the additional inch to the length meant it covered my belt when I leant forward.

I think the main difference between the originals and the Aero model (apart from the collar) is that Aero doesn’t have a front drop on their pattern. I think it really adds wearability to this design. Gettig fitted in person is the key I think- you can adjust the specs to your liking and your wardrobe.

This is the primary reason I sold my blue HB. The blunt cut raises the front too much. Even a 1” drop negates the front rise but none of the 50’s patterns from Aero I’ve tried have it. I should’ve asked for that.

Not a jacket, but I’m thrilled to have picked up these Vanson Sportrider pants. Took a bit of a gamble on the sizing (I’m 34 waist in most pants) but the fit on these guys is perfect. Only drawback is there’s no armor in the knees, might see if Vanson can add it.

There should be pockets to hold the knee pad Vanson sells knee pads separately

Greg can do no wrong it seems. My family just went out so I pumped up the AC and put mine on. I am still floored by the details I notice. Firstly, no other maker could fit a jacket with such tight tolerance and still have this level of comfort and movement. The dude understands human physiology, which is what makes it fit like a second skin. And the pocket bags - that fabric is just out of this world!

Sick. Totally sick. So nice.

So nice! Look forward to seeing the fit pics.

Thanks gents! When I get it, I know I just want to wear this thing to death and bed every night. I want to get teacore wear-through from my wife rolling over LOL.

@marker2037 love the classic j24 look with added flair on the sleeves, the brass on black leather is a perfect combo, just an awesome classy build. Congrats man!

*now you need a brown jacket counterpart
Thanks Jin! This will be my first brass on black jacket so I'm pretty pumped for it to arrive. For brown, I do have a somewhat slimmed down and simplified J-24 with my Aero Ridley.

Next jacket up would be a brown Leathertogs, but I'm pretty satisfied with my collection for now :).

Definitely nice and it should look so good when the brass patina' s and the teacore shows through. Ahh I remember now, I forgot that you have that new blackened brown J24!

That's my next up too lol with brass hardware! I'll ask Greg to make the back design and the belt removable like that recent jacket they shared on the cross zip nation/sears thread.
