How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Certainly in the UK the 'cafe racer' as we know it is a sixties thing, though they have their origin in the one-piece riding suits of the fifties. I have seen mandarin collars on jackets as early as 30s, though - typically German bike jackets and halfbelts.

If you think about it this 30s Peter's has a mandarin collar.
It is just in hiding when the jacket is open...

Same with the Leather Togs which is also a 30s design:

The center zip mandarin collar jacket might have become mainstream in the 50s with the J-100 and similar jackets, but it started on cross zips long before that.

Wayfarer update: bloody DHL managed to outfox me. I unavoidably had to go out for 20 minutes at lunchtime. Rushed back to the house and just as I was unlocking the front door, my phone buzzed with a 'We missed you' text. Aaaaargh. It's going to be arriving tomorrow morning now. Delayed gratification etc etc.

You guys are going to kill me because I did not take pictures, but my stock CHP from Lost Worlds arrived today to check fit. Stuart send out a 46 regular and it was just about perfect except for the fact that it was too short, which we knew it would be. Initially I thought I might want to go up a size but as I wore it around the house and moved around in it I realized that 46 was perfect and the 48 would actually be too big
I’m sorry I didn’t take pictures guys, I got into a frenzy thanking that the quicker I got the fitting over and put the jacket in the box on its way back to New York the quicker I would have my custom CHP in hand. In retrospect I don’t think taking the time to snap a couple photos would’ve hurt anything, but we all know how that goes.

This might be an absolute turd but I had to know. Everything I’ve read about this company screams garbage but for under $100 bucks I have to know. Soso (name probably sums it up) 27oz? Type III-ish. Handwarmers look all wrong...how bad can it be?

Details? Where from?

If it's textile (rather than leather), there's a fair chance of it being a very decent jacket at that price - just don't expect 'first world' point of manufacture.

I think it would look better witout the handwarmers, but they wouldn't bother me sitting that high - as long as tat's not an indication the body is over-long. I've seen a lot of fashion-oriented Type IIIs thisseason which are about six inches longer in the body than I'd be comfortable wearing.

SoSo make some very nice quality stuff fwiu, although I've not laid hands on any personally. A friend has some of their jeans and reckons they're terrific.

I believe, if what i've read to be believed, these are designed by swedish brothers and assembled in Thailand from Japanese denim. LOL...even typing that makes me blush. I suspect a larger, far eastern country of origin is more likely but we'll see how it is. I grabbed it off ebay so the seller claimed the original retail was around $230...
