How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I have 0 money right now, so this is a future project, but Stu clearly has access to deer, hes done some limited runs it and I think I saw hes got the green and a black deer pea coat right now. Im toying with the idea of a Speed Demon or J-23 in deer. Maybe one day.

At the moment he has black and forest green deer. He mentioned that he has a blue deer batch coming up. The deer is really nice, I strongly recommend it! Although its probably not something to consider for those of us who like LW for heavy horsehide...

Only 1/3 was leather in my batch. A cotton buco, woollen Roadhouse and a forest green deer Peacoat. Here they are:

The forest green deer Peacoat is really cool! Is it available again? Is it 4oz or more/less? Is it heavy? Pliable / stiff?

Previous green batch was moosehide, I believe, and this new deerskin is very similar, but a bit lighter. It’s available at the moment. According to Stu its about 3,5 Oz. To me it feels medium weight and its very soft and pliable.

Thank you and sounds good...even if it looks nice I don't need another (green) leather jacket :)

I have extensive experience with deer, moose and elk. And they are all very similar. They tend to be thicker than cow and definitely than horse but very much so spongey. Now how it’s dyed and any topcoats make a world of difference so someone can say mine wasn’t like that at all! But the baseline is that. And they tend to mold and drape to your body way better than cow or horse. When and if I ever have money again (just closed on my first house, adopted another dog, and just picked up an engagement ring ohhhh god haha) I’m drooling over the idea of a deer or moose Speed Demon or J-23.

Here’s a picture of the new house, the Woman who will receive the ring ( I blacked her face out cause she said “I’m not wearing any make up and I’m in my pajamas!” Haha and the new dog. The brown one is Charlie who I’ve had his entire life he’s an 11 year old pitbull/boxer mix. Then there’s a 2 year old gremlin, I mean Frenchie named Gretchen. We got her from a rescue group we’re friends with. They rescued her from a puppy mill. Her coat is super rare and a mutation and they searched across the country to find another to breed with her. I guess she at 2 years old already had 2 liters of deformed mutant puppies. So we couldn’t be happier to save her from that life. Sorry for hijacking the thread but thought I would share!
