In my experience my LW collar take less effort to attach and feels better than my Vanson one.

On another note, my LW CHP shipped. 9 lb box without belt or any other accouterments.

What you say about Vanson's fur collar? Did you get genuine sheepskin collar or synthetic one? Is it good compare to LW?

The Vanson was faux but I had it replaced with a real one. The faux is OK, more weather resistant but pales next to the real deal!

The lambskin is dead on 24" and is a 44".

8.38 lbs Vanson model e arrived, I like the fit, leather is softer and thinner than rock and roll, the main problem is there are many abrasions on the jacket, many stitche holes as well, cigarette pocket can't snap in, I talked to Vanson and asking some compensation at least, not sure should I keep it or return it

Look at the back of that belt, looks like whoever cut that didn't have a straight edge on hand!
How could whoever stitched that not flag it out?
I would send it back for that alone.
