Wow that's fast!!! Maybe my black CR will see similar speed to completion! Post up pics when it arrives!

Yes, I was very surprised by this. Saw late Friday night an email saying that they’d finished my order and tried to charge my account, which lacked the funds. So I transferred and sent them an email, assuming that they’d take payment and ship today. But alas, I haven’t heard back from them today. Oh well, maybe tomorrow.

I certainly hope your CR will have a similar wait time, it was a very pleasant surprise.

I've told myself May so anything ahead of that would be splendid! I just submitted on the 1st so I'm not bouncing off the walls. Yet.

Aside it looking really freaking cool, this phone pocket actually seems super practical. Actually, entire jacket does! I'd only ditch the upper/chest side belt (the buckle might chew thru the sleeve with time) or even have 'em replaced with a zipper as well but other than that... This is one really well designed mc jacket!

All the leather trucker talk more recently and the cool pictures posted, as well as my excessive wear of my trucker style corduroy jacket this winter convinced me I NEEDED a leather trucker as well.

Leather color on this Schott looked nice and it has wide shoulders and crazy taper in the body which I like, so I went for it. Gonna post pictures once it arrives.

Look forward to seeing this jacket.

Lol worst part is I saw that one but figured the seller wouldn't ship out of the UK. Or if they would, it'd cost as much as the jacket does which is usually the case...

He wasn't going to. Took about 17 begging messages on eBay, a fully armed squad CTAC praetorians, a royal decree signed by the Queen and a Thatcher bust to convince that bloke. Shipping is only 21GBP though.

actually I've been trying to reply several times but has no luck posting it:(, the post doesn't send through, so in short the back zip is to access the space between double leather panel back

the back construction, I'm thinking of double faced back panel so the shoulder articulation is actually a wide flap and then secured together with X elasticized belt to both left and right flaps that can be accessed for repair when both straps are undone and the whole back panel can be lifted exposing the back gusset mechanism, so the back zipper is to give access to the usual full back pocket space between both leather panels can put an a4 sketch pad in it or extra spine protector if needed, or folded batman cape lol. BTW those "eyelets" on the upper front are not eyelets, they are male snaps to secure the neck tab when the jacket worn open, one to secure it strait up as a stand collar or the other position closer to the shoulder for a spread lapel look

the shoulder of the sleeve, I'm thinking of buried piping around the shoulder hole so the sleeve is mounted over the piping inside, I think it would give more freedom for extra arm movement hopefully.
I have an idea about blue jacket, and with natural veg belt straps, and top of the shoulder panel so it will patina like mad from sun and rain, if only I didn't already have a grey jacket this one would definitely grey + natural belt straps and shoulder pad.:p

seems like there is a hidden limit of how much you can type in a single post, so I triple posts

hehe thanks Mon, the idea behind the upper rear belt is to make the waist silhouette of the jacket alterable for athletic build or more straight torso without any batwing in the way since it can be tucked in, also more forgiving to alter the torso size for layering or even when wearing armor vest underneath, however the pin of the belt might scratch the sleeve indeed, maybe a double D is a better solution :)

Greetings Navetsea et al:
I like it! I even like the name! Thinkin maybe you should consider doing this for a living. You certainly have the gift.
Be well. Bowen
heheh thanks, I'm only able to jot down weird ideas on paper, no qualification at all at running a company or working on leather:D I do work as freelance comic artist or game character design... still far from being famous though otherwise I would have more jackets coming and planned.
