How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I’ve had good luck (dumb luck) with buying off-the-rack at Aero’s webstore; I just have to occasionally scan their sale page with an eye for the exact size-specs and for a look that raises my heart beat. And so today I found one that was listed for barely a day when I snatched it (probably from the poor guy in Shanghai fumbling with an expired credit card).

I thought I’d go off path and get a Type A-2 in Vicenza Italian Horse Hide in beautiful natural color. Why the F not? Next fall or even early summer should be interesting... maybe even fun. But for now I endure the inevitable scolding from the wife; it’s a balanced decision.

I understand the temptation. The voices in your head says: If you don’t buy it now, that guy in Poland or Canada or Japan is reaching for his wallet.

I couldn’t kill that voice this morning.

The Walter Dyer Scooter came in. Good jacket in great condition, especially for under $100. It included the zip-out lining. It is a trim fitting jacket but the shoulder gussets provide a very wide range of movement.



Still waiting on the Cal Leather. I think it was shipped via mule or some other such pack animal.

No doubt. It is a very cool jacket. I am glad I decided to take a chance, mostly based on your posts and then Guppy's recent Natal purchase. Many WD's go for around $250-300. At that price it is a good buy but every so often, far as I can tell, they will pop up for around $100. That's a no-brainer.
