How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

yeah the cooper one seems to be the big V taper fit, there was one here compared with some other manufacturer's G-1's

I think that was a " better " earlier cooper than the one on Ebay I was contemplating, that is to say I assume they only got worse.

This just has the looks of a fairly modern civilian label, and I would not be surprised if it's a fairly low end jacket that's not even American made like it says, but I do not actually know.

That's a civie version flight jacket. If that's the route you might also want to search Schott 184, there are tons of those jackets around.
Or if military spec G-1 search MIL-J-7823, there are tons "E" ones for good deal but you might want to find earlier ones. Some of them have good deals when the sleeve knits got chopped off, easy fit imo.

Yeah I knew it was a civilian piece, but had just been contemplating it for the price of entry
I have been looking on Ebay and discovered that issue G1'S can be had for about $150 shipped, so I will be on the lookout for one in my size.

Right now I'm just waiting for my cooper A2 so I can decide if it's satisfactory or whether I want to start looking for a USGI Saddlery which are supposed to be superior in a few details.
I saw a nice condition '88 dated Saddlery for about $100 but it's a long, I'll need a regular if I decide the few details matter enough to get one.
I am not planning to jump down the A2 or G1 rabbit hole, so I've gotta be careful that it doesn't inadvertently happen like I know it can.
