I sent the Californian to Dena and she replaced the lining and pocket pouches, adding an inside pocket. She was only able to lengthen the sleeves by about 3/8ths of an inch because there just wasn't much to work with, but I'll take it. She also found some buttons that very closely match the original as one was missing.The jacket will be in the mail tomorrow.

That's the one I was thinking of! Looks so great.

While I think a lot of the Thedi styles are suited to earth tones it strikes me that this one would look good in black too

So he has a bit more to finish it seems? Was wondering about the lack of button on the little tab that covers the zipper

This is a “potential”. I keep asking myself if I can do knits. It’s a HH fidelity. I do like it and the price is right. Liner was replaced with heavy brown corduroy…that’s my jam.

I’ve got a pair of IH N1 deck jackets on the way, one in khaki and one in olive.

I think I like the khaki model better but the numbers looked a little closer on the olive one. When they arrive I will see how they look and fit in person, I will also get the girlfriends input. One will be a keeper and the other will be returned.
