Just bought this vintage levis trucker.
Probably early 70s

Nice one Jon, looks to be in great conditionView attachment 328257 View attachment 328259 another Taubers headed home should be a perfect fit. Look out for a larger-sized straight zip Taubers with police badge holder also in pristine condition coming soon to the classifies.
Where are you getting those blue Shields? I must have set up my searches all wrong...all I get is Wilson's crap, lol. Finally! I've been refreshing this page for weeks without any updates.

Looks to be in pristine condition like the straight zip I purchased from you I lost about 25 lbs since I got the straight zip and it is larger large on me now. Now that I am smaller and no longer ride I feel a little conspicuous and less badass wearing the straight zip with the badge holder.Nice one Jon, looks to be in great condition
There are (were) two TFL members who had one. You got yours from Technovox. I got mine from RockabillyWhere are you getting those blue Shields? I must have set up my searches all wrong...all I get is Wilson's crap, lol.
Mine is also a 42 and also a bit wide. Great for layering.Yeah, but never too few blue racers. The one I just got is awesome and a keeper, but that is a jacket I can layer at size 42. I am still looking for a 40 or maybe even a 38 blue Score or Shields to go for a tighter fit. Funny thing, my wife never notices if I put on a new jacket when we go out (why should she, all my jackets are black racers, lol), but when she saw that Shields she said wow. She loved the color, as did I. So, I view it as an approval to get more, lol.
@Marc mndt - would you mind doing a quick measurement on the 36? Shoulders, P2P, sleeve and hem width. That would greatly help me target that tighter fit in Shields/Score. Thanks, hope not too much trouble.Mine is also a 42 and also a bit wide. Great for layering.
Sizing is kind of funny btw. I can zip the 36 and 42 and they perfectly align. Which means they don't grow in length with sizing up.

I think I would need a 40. But these are very hard / impossible to find.^^
Thanks. I'd need to lose three inches in the hem for 36 to work. Not gonna happen. 38 might work, 40 definitely, although I don't know if 40 would give me a much tighter fit than my 42. I think I should be looking for a 38...
I just measured my blue Shields (42) and the black Score and determined that the black Score is 40, despite the size tag being unreadable. I feel some resistance when I move my shoulders forward but I can zip it up no problem. No such resistance in the 42 Shields. If I wanted a t-shirt-only fit in blue Shields I would probably need a 38. Good luck to both of us!I think I would need a 40. But these are very hard / impossible to find.
This Californian is coming over.

Unfortunately, I am returning this gem just too small. I get a 22" pit to pit including the football. Tagged size 40. I can zip it but it feels like a straight jacket. Probably post-war 40s based on the label and Crown/Coats Clark zip. Pristine vintage condition lighter than my straight zip police TaubersView attachment 328257 View attachment 328259 another Taubers headed home should be a perfect fit.
