How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Girlfriend and I were out running errands and saw an estate sale and stopped in. And man oh man did I get lucky. Best random 10 min stop in I’ve had in a long time. I got this Navy coat and German or maybe Finnish(?) Field Jacket of some sort. Each only cost 20 dollars. So 40 I walked away with 2 perfect fitting and no damage pieces. The Navy coat is a little musty and covered in dog hair, but it just so happens the gfs mom works for a higher end dry cleaning facility that will get me this looking brand new for free. Now military pieces are not my speciality if anyone stumbles across this post and has any info it is greatly appreciated. Although since they are in mint condition, fit to a T and cost 40 dollars total the info isn’t as of much importance since I don’t see myself selling them anytime soon.

After review it’s defintiely Finnish and 100% wool as for the grey field jacket. Here in Buffalo it’s a crisp, but not windy, snow on the ground but not in the sky, at least not until later tonight. Which means when I leave shortly to take pictures for a work event I think I will take it on it’s first outing.

Not sure about french seams.

Not sure about sleeves. I can return the jacket of it does not fit.

I sent an e-mail to Gail asking for any info she might have.

There are several version of this jacket. Most common one is the later model with, well, regular seams. This one. I've had that jacket. Really cool stuff.

But there's an earlier version with french seams and brown stitching and brown zipper tapes. I can't find a photo of an actual one right now but this repro is spot on. These are rare but they're really sweet looking jackets.

Excellent jacket with an amazing fit... congrats! :)
Thank you. The Few usually fits me better than the other Japanese brands. This is size 36 but not quite the Western size 36 and yet roomier than the other Japanese brands. Oh, actually it fits quite like Lewis size 36 but with shorter sleeves and length.

Thank you. Baldalassi cowhide. The darker shade (Seal?) looks shinny and coated. Different type of dye I guess. Been looking for one in brown for quite a while. Saw a bunch of black Toys McCoy and Real McCoy's. Got fed up and bought a black Levi's Japan one a few months ago then this came. Would be perfect if they use the Hookless zipper like the Toys McCoy.

So, what is your feeling on the Badalassii?
Leather looks and feels like those used in making bags by brands like Marlboro Classics and Mulberry in the "old" days. By old days, I mean 80s, LOL.
I meant to say quite typical Italian leather you see on many branded goods.
