How do folks react to your hat wearing?

Ok, here is a DIFFERENT kind of reaction story...My wife was looking at my photo album on my tablet (had some pictures of chairs and paintings she may want from an antique store) WHEN she see this picture: View attachment 193604
and says: "That is a really nice looking Hat, you need one like that!!". When I reply: "That IS my hat!!! That is a picture I took for the lounge"......."remember, that is the Storied Whippet in Natural I finally got". Then she: "Oh yes,......... That is a nice hat".
So, my wife DOES like (at least one) of my hats!!!!!!!!

Hey, if J.E.B. Stuart approves, so should your wife! (At least that looks like him peeping out over the crown of the hat.)

This just happened ten minutes ago. I got a telephone call from a woman who works in the same big organization that I do. I hardly know her, although I have been in a few meetings with her. Says she: "This morning in the parking garage I found a very nice hat on the ground. Because I recall that you wear some very nice hats, I thought I'd call you to see if you lost a hat before I take it to Lost and Found." I took it very positively. Nice to know that my hats make an impression... or that I do when wearing one!
