you could have told him that you look awfully good to be pushing 120
My dad was born in the 30s.... that would be 89 at the most.
Exactly, it would be unlikely that anyone would buy a hat before he was at least older than 16 in 1930....My dad was born in the 30s.... that would be 89 at the most.
Wearing caps and hats was fabulously more popular in the 1930s than it is now and everyone wore hats and started wearing them much earlier than we do now.Exactly, it would be unlikely that anyone would buy a hat before he was at least older than 16 in 1930....
Someone should have told Frank Sinatra that.Exactly, it would be unlikely that anyone would buy a hat before he was at least older than 16 in 1930....
"Never wear a hat and sunglasses at the same time, because it looks like you're wearing a disguise."
Jamie Hince
Jamie Hince? Who on earth is Jamie Hince? Apparently he's the ex of model Kate Moss. Wiki gives this report about him:
"James William Hince is an English guitarist, singer and songwriter, best known as the guitarist for the indie rock duo The Kills. He started his musical career in bands called Fiji, Scarfo, and Blyth Power. He co-founded The Kills with American singer Alison Mosshart in 2000."
Really, I'm none the wiser. But for you Mr Hince, my right eye is very sensitive to daylight, I think the condition is called, photophobia, it's something that I have always had, it's not a detached retina nor is it eye damage from wearing contact lenses, nor is it curable. But wearing dark glasses makes an amazing difference.
You could be right about it being a disguise, but the hat and clothes that I wear with dark glasses tends to mark me out rather than make me look disguised, so you live your life and I will get on with mine.

Just remember the old adage (cleaned up for inclusion here), 'Opinions are like rectums. Everyone has one and they all stink.'
You couldn't have more opinions or divide folk more than politicians. They manage to rub everyone up the wrong way. So much so that when I saw Jeff Dunham a few years back, the episode where Walter has decided to run for President, the roar of approval from the audience was so loud that we could almost hear it on our side of the pond.Everyone is his own arbiter elegantiarum . I suppose that I make my own fashion decisions
Walter would never get elected--he looks too much like former Vice President Joe Biden. You couldn't have more opinions or divide folk more than politicians.
