Gimbel Salesman's schedule reminder postcard....LOVE the "I will show my face in your store" with the GIANT Hat covered face image!!!! This is postmarked 1921 from Henderson KY. Gimbel stuff is rare as hens teeth and consequently it is hard to find out anything about them.........I have only a few references in my collection including this....

Here are some German Poster stamps, Two for hatters (each has a blank space for hatters to stamp their info), a third I THINK is for a hatter ??(I need a translation for this one) and a fourth advertising a movie which features a man in a Tyrolean......Circa 1915. I especially like the first one featuring a hat shop......

{I just did a google translate and the third does indeed advertise for Brown's Discount Market and their Top Hats and indicates you "are a wretch if you don't own one"!!!!!}​
