@M Hatman, I just discovered this thread and have been going through it from start to finish. Rather than filling your notifications with a hundred reactions, let me just say how I thoroughly enjoyed looking at all of your paraphernalia. I especially like the matches.

Are we ready for summer??? Circa 1950 postcard. Interesting in that the hatter simply addressed it with no comment.....they let the ad do the talking.

Just a bump to my thread....a teaser from one of my many wholesale and supply catalogs. This one is 1891-1892 and shows the making of a hat.......This catalog alone has over 40 pages of hats!!!!! I have a LOT to post when I get time.

And from yet one more....1915. I find the "western" styes intriguing....they are more 19th century "Plains" style with the low crowns and "never flop" flat brims......some of the fedoras in this catalog have the wild bows common in the mid-teens.

Yes....I like that. Most of my really early stuff and wholesale supply catalogs are from "other than Stetson" so that works.

I will say I need to look around for a HH bar/ruler scanner. Would make it easier to copy the bound materials. I even have multiple Hatters magazines and annuals with great stuff in them.

Anybody have a good HH scanner they don't use anymore for the cause????
