I don't know who the distiller is nor have I tried it. He has endorsed a line of cigars thru the yrs & they are usually pretty good.

Had a couple - three drams of Lagavulin 16 by the drink tonight. Sherry & peat smoke, not so much medicinal iodine. Nice long finish made for a nice dram.

Stiffling heat had me enjoying a Founders Centennial Ale and a Vtg. Stetson Supernatural Panama. I sipped the cool beer in a frosty tall stein and believed I was cooler. Even if it was not exactly true, I was comfortable in being delusionaly cooler in the 100+'F heat index evening weather. In an effort to stay cooler longer, I would have tried a second beer, but I got called for to answer business questions on my computer.

Seriosely - My fav seasonal roasted coffee bean from Caribou - La Minita is available now. The peaberry, 1 bean instead of 2 develops in a coffee ban cherry. It soaks up more "favor." I had some pressed La Minita coffee this morning - intend flavor. Many do not appreciate the intense flavor - I LOVE the flavor. I taste the milk chocolate rich taste of others, but also sense the cherry and natural sweet (not sugar sweet) of the handpicked Costa Rican coffee.
