I have ethanol envy.

Excellent! Quick trip for some hard to find delights. New bottle day!

Only you can prevent a dull evening. LOL
To ease my guilty conscience I'm going to live cheap for a couple of days, & to pay penance I'm going to make myself eat healthy. So for dinner tonight it's gonna be beer & a corn dog.

Any of you wine drinkers & collectors know anything about these Marilyn Merlot Wines? Are they really licensed by the Marilyn Monroe estate? Are you paying for just the bottle? Any good?

Jack, I can be of no assistance. My tastes are very pedestrian in wines. Lately I have been enjoying the tastes of the cheaper Australian wines and do not venture far from them. I have been introduced to some expensive wines in the past and never did appreciate the nuances. The wine above is a novelty, as to taste I hope the forum can provide sage wisdom.

Cheers, Eric -

Thanks Eric. I'm not much of a wine drinker but have an occasion coming up where I could give a bottle of wine as a gift. I think I'll give one from my comfort zone.

Sexism in The Whiskey Bible? Say it ain't so! A yr or two ago this annual publication took a blasphemous hit after being published for yrs, for its title usage of the word Bible. Now the 2021 edition which isn't due out for another month, is being attacked in Forbes Magazine for vocabulary deemed as sexist.

I can understand the 2021 edition coming out in 2020, but I think he got a bit ahead of himself with the 2017 edition!

Looks like he was kind of pushing that 25th Anniversary Edition, for sure!

He takes a lot of heat from knowledgeable people sometimes for his scoring & ratings, but it seems like the last couple of yrs every hack writer who's never drank anything stronger than a Seltzer feels entitled to take their shot.

Enjoying a Guinness Stout this evening.

Late night Guinness.
Along the lines of a Guinness, Jameson has a new Irish Whiskey hitting the market which has been finished in barrels from Eight Degrees Brewing, which were previously filled with their Black Ball Irish Stout. Part of the Jameson Crested Irish Whiskey series. Sounds like it could be promising.

Nice one Jack. On my commute home today, I heard Bob Dylan’s ‘theme time’ radio block and he played a song called ‘Ain’t I’m a dog’. It made me go home and want to attempt the dog bone crease again. Well I’ll be dogged, I got it!

Great job, Ross! That's a good one for sure; you got it right!

I'm still enjoying the Guinness...& I admit to a few shots of Mitchell's Green Spot to go with it.
