Thanks Jack. I hope I do, too.I have two vintage sets of Old #7 rocks glasses. Very nice sentiment, Dale. I hope you get to spend your day at home & not at work. Thank you!

Calling out "New Bottle" is like calling out "New Player" at the poker table or "New Shooter" at the craps table!

I like the pattern & colors of that cap, Eric. I went to the Cap thread & looked up your post to see more. Looks very nice on you!Game on. Congrats on the new bottle. I looked up a bunch of reviews and am swayed to look for a bottle in the future.
Brunch and a Guinness.
Cheers, Eric -

I had an early dinner of Carnitas, rice, beans & some jalapeño poppers so I'm ready for some Tequila. Let's get it started! That’s like drinking a good spring water, only better. A favorite.
I finally got around to trying the raisins on ice cream. They lived up to expectations...on vanilla ice cream with a splash of the infused rum. You will never find store bought rum raisin ice cream this good.Sounds terrific! Well done sir.
Your post brings back memories of my late Aunt who claimed the arthritis in her hands was solved in the morning by having some raisins that had been sous vide infused in gin. She said her immigrant mother (Finland) and old country grandmother did the same. I recall my Grandmother shoveling her driveway in Northern Minnesota in her 90's saying she would go out for 20 minutes at a time and come in and sip some wine (she had Mogan David wine or home made from local berries). and have some raisins and be ready to go back to shoveling. She lived in her own house til her passing at 99 years old. I got to make me some of those special raisins!
On ice cream - that sounds delicious.

Eric, I placed an order for shipment that includes a couple of bottles of hard to get Scotch coming out of Hopkins. Online reviews of their service aren't great but I'm giving them a chance to earn a good one. If something goes bad I may ask you to go by & break some legs for me!Evening. My dog and I have been enjoying the quiet lake shore. I am sipping a Founders All Day IPA. All in all a grand ending to the day.
Cheers, Eric -

What do you know of Ace? They had a great price on Yamazaki 12, limit 1 bottle but were sold out. Will be prepared to head over. I have been regularily going to the gym so I should be ready. I presume Ace Spirits is the vendor. I know the location.

There are millions of places in Brooklyn, NY but I have never had success with any of them, I get the best satisfaction shipping from vendors in Denver, CO & points from CA.
They have a good website & work hard at keeping the inventory up to date. If the "buy button" is not present below an item then they are out of stock. To be fair, the online reviews were a yr old & nothing since. It is a small shop in a strip mall. The set-up inside is glorious. In the past couple of months the store is stocked and when I show up I have received service. The bottles are a bit more than the big box stores, but their selection is great. I have never ordered anything from them. I understand they had business hiccups during April/May when the state quarantine was in full swing. A bit over a year ago when I was discovering whiskey I used their staffs knowledge and expertise for selecting a few choice bottles. Advise turned to be spot on.
I do fit their profile customer to help so I may not exemplify all others experiences. Interesting is that the store is hard to find. Darkened windows for the shop in a strip mall. Many fanatical whiskey buyers go to the store. The folks who are shopping are a varied lot.
Jack I would buy in person any day.

According to my receipt the umbrella or parent company is Wine From Water LLC. Ever heard of them?
They offered the Route insurance which I always take, so I should be okay unless they claim out of stock on something I ordered. It usually takes 2-3 days most times to receive a confirmation an online order has been filled. I'll let you know what works out. Thanks for the info.
Ace came thru with exactly what I ordered Monday night; arrived today. I'm happy to get a couple of hard to find bottlings. I'm going to savor these for a while & probably fondle them like I do this Stetson Shady Oak Farm. Many fanatical whiskey buyers go to the store.
