Hatband do's and don'ts

Despite the protestations of some here, I removed the stained puggaree from this Knox New York straw and replaced it with a variety of hatbands made from ... paracord. They're easy to switch out, and if need be, can be used in an emergency as rope!

I'm not sure if this is a do or don't. I like double bands and old Cowboy Hats I'm surely no pro but I wear them proudly.
