Another jacket for the fans...

I wonder who will end up offering this ;) And I wonder who will be the first lounger to get one ;))

An interesting take on a biker jacket... Perfect for smuggler's and epic space battles.

Seriously looking forward to the movie!

I don't see the bike jacket connection. This character wore jackets with that kind collar. Looks like it was updated in leather.

Movie trailers look awesome! Will certainly check it out when it opens.
I wonder if George Lucas will sanction an "official" Star Wars: The Force Awakens Han Solo leather jacket for sale like the "official" Indy jackets that were offered in the wake of the Raider/Indy films?

Never mind the jackets, I'm more concerned that 'voice over Luke' says 'My father has it' when talking about the force in his family. Vader's dead, so he should say 'had it'. Unless....

After all, the storm troopers are all clones.

I am in to get the wookie jacket Han's pal is wearing!
oh, Chewie (he looks CG) is not wearing any? oups :D

2 things went to my mind when after I watched this 2nd trailer for the first time:
- The wait will be long until december (I was not that "excited" after the 1st trailer)
- how come they decided to change Han's jacket?

Then after watching it a 2nd time:
- definitevely very long, the wait will be!
- on 2nd thought, Han's leather jacket is a killer and looks perfect for the job!

maybe Harrison Ford could have his word about it, like for Indy's jacket?

Anovos has the licence for SW related costumes - so if it'll be available it'll be made by them. And no, Chewie is not cgi, they tried to avoid as much cgi as possible actually (which is a great decision btw, I couldn't stand the look of the prequels)

That's what Lucas and Spielberg have said for the Skull, yet it turned out to be a CGI fest - and a really bad looking one.

I never believed Lucas, he's a cgi junkie. He once said, he couldn't understand Scorsese for building big sets for Gangs of New York - cgi would be cheaper an better looking. Since then I never took Lucas serious anymore. And Spielberg hadn't much to say I think - he opposed the lame UFO/ET idea as well but without success.

So I just hope for the best :)

Didn't hear that bit from Lucas but yeah, spoken like a true businessman.

Though I don't think this new film could possibly be worse than the the last two episodes, so yeah, at least something beside the new Mad Max to look forward to.

It's taken directly from Return of the Jedi. It's Luke's speech to Leia when he revealed that Darth Vader is his father, only the last part is a new addition.

I just watched the trailer. Apparently it's a full 1' 50" long … and it's the fastest 1'50" I can ever recall. Fantastic!!! Wow.
It's so amazing how such simple - and yet familiar - things as sound effects of things that aren't real and Harrison's voice saying just three words can give me goosebumps!

No, not just the theme. It's the sound of the TIE fighters and the blasters and the Falcon … and those three words from Han Solo.
You look quite young on your avatar there, Navetsea, but it transports me right back to 1977 (when I was 10) when the film first came out amid massive hoopla and it changed everything. Everything else suddenly paled by comparison. And the queues to see it were astonishing - hence the term "blockbuster" as people lined up patiently around the block to get in … I saw it 3 times as there wasn't any video back then, so the only way to see it was to go and buy another ticket and stand in line with all the anticipation to see again something that looked and sounded and felt so magical and special. (Hence the bitterness and resentment from fans for what Lucas later did to the franchise. He's a one-trick pony if ever there was one).
