Borsalino and Doria are two of the most respected and established hat makers in Italy; Borsalino was founded in 1857, Doria in 1905.
In the early 2000s they collaborated on two lines of hats--the spectacularly expensive "Doria Borsalino" line, and the slightly less spectacularly expensive "Doria Gruppo Borsalino" line.
This hat is one of those collaborations, from the second line.
And it's beautiful.
Made in Italy from a lovely black and white tweed in a lovely rare miniature diamond pattern, flecked through with rosehip red, light sky blue, dark blue, and gorse. The care taken with the bands of stitching that shape this has is meticulous. It is in absolutely excellent condition.
Borsalino x Doria hats routinely sell in excess of $120 on eBay... so how about just $45, or offer, boxed, shipped, and insured in the USA?
