Wayne, Great find! Overall fantastic! I believe the numbers are just Sweatband related, possibly a lot number. I am thinking early 1950s. Can I see a photo of the entire paper label?Mayser in a rich chocolate brown. I understand this to be approximately mid-late 50s. Any insight on what the stamped numbers may be?

Thanks, Steve. It's in really great shape and a lovely felt. The other velours will have to do untill one in my size comes along.Stefan, Some how I missed this beauty. It's a really fantastic find! I am sorry about the size. The condition is excellent. My guess is mid 1930s.
Great find, Wayne. I used to have one in black like that. Super hat.Mayser in a rich chocolate brown. I understand this to be approximately mid-late 50s. Any insight on what the stamped numbers may be?

Wayne, Thank you! It's hard to see but it's a "Spezial".Sorry took me a while to get around to it, but full paper label as requested

Matt, Thanks! I believe the signatures are reproduced. This is a great document of contemporary history - both hatter and cultural history!
I assume that the autographs are original!?
Stefan, Here is a R. & M. Wegener advert from 1962 that mentions a "Camber" as a "Classic Theater Hat" so that makes 3 major hat companies (P. & C. Habig Wien, Mayser, Wegener) so far that use the term. I am pretty sure I have seen it used elsewhere so probably more examples will be found.
Matt, Yes another Camber example and from Austria. It's definitely a brim up style but not as formal as a Homburg. I wonder if "50" is the year -> 1950? If so it would be earlier. By the way I have some interesting information on the Homburg that I need to post.THE CAMBER 50

So this is the next example for using this term...
An excellent piece! Glad to see you've acquired it, Steve. Good to see another "camber" mention as well.Hut - Schick, Otto H. Schick Hat Maker Vienna, Shows His Handcrafted Hats

THE DAY AND EVENING HAT OF THIS WINTER SEASON. MOUSE GRAY, MAROON AND BLACK
My Notes: The catalog comes from the estate of the former prima ballerina at the Vienna State Opera, Julia Drapal. The catalog is probably from the mid 1950s. In 1955 1 United States Dollar = 26 Austrian Schillings. A thank you to Stefan for the tip.
Super! J. Hückel´s Söhne (JHS) main factory in Nový Jičín, Czechoslovakia (was Neutitschein, Austria up to WWI) became Tonak Factory 1 after WWII. All Hat Factories in Czechoslovakia were nationalized as Tonak but only two survived (Janyška was Factory 2). Your hat is the from 1950s. Is the liner stitched or glued in? Would be great to see more detailed photos of the exterior. Front and side views. Also the sweatband logos and rear bow. You can read more here about JHS here. There is info on Tonak and Janyška if you search.Found this German Hückel brand Fedora manufactured in Czechoslovakia for a Finnish retailer! I don't know much about fedora hats (My first ever!); which era would this be?
Stefan, Thanks! I received it a while ago and just got around to translating and posting it. Definitely some great information and photos. An excellent piece! Glad to see you've acquired it, Steve. Good to see another "camber" mention as well.
Can anyone (Steve?) tell me what this style of hat is called. I’m considering it as a gift to a proud German-American friend of mine.
