Maybe the paper label will help

I think this one is a later one by Borsalino Giuseppe & Fratello. As Daniele suggested a paper label would help.
That is a more than gorgeous hat, Tonio. Fantastic find. The label, from what I can see, reminds me of the "ontano" coloured one I got from Moehawk.GB Borsalino Fu Lazzaro & Co. Qualita Speciale XX. Beautiful soft felt on this.

Stefan, Yes that is a better example. Here is your link. That is a more than gorgeous hat, Tonio. Fantastic find. The label, from what I can see, reminds me of the "ontano" coloured one I got from Moehawk.
I always get exited if I see you've posted, Tonio. I know it's always going to be a good one. This one is no exception. Great find and a real piece of hat history. Are you going to attempt restoring it or will you leave it as is?GB Borsalino with a nice brim curl. I believe this one is an oldie. The ribbon has a little wear on it. The sweatband is barely hanging on, however it's basically wedged in place.

My suggestion is to restore it with an hatter who know Borsalino standard
Super find! The paper label format is the same as my G. B. Borsaliono fu Lazzaro & Co Stiff Felt. I hadn't taken a photo of the paper label until today. It's interesting that they also used a cell format.
Here is the link with the rest of the photos.

Tonio, Thanks. Yes that is an amazing hat. It belongs to the Gotisches Haus (Gothic House) Hat Museum, Bad Homburg vor der Höhe, Germany. I wish I had taken a photo of the paper label but my guess is it's similar to the ones posted above.I recall admiring that hat at one point. It's a great one! By the way, that old GB Borsalino "Zenit" you once posted is definitely one of my all time favorites.
Great find! We see far to few of these, but every time we do they are exciting hats.
Bombetta G.B. Borsalino fu Lazzaro built around the 20s of the last century
Qualità Finissima. In black felt. Size is 59 cm. or 7 3/8 US
The bowler is intact, no sign of moths or dents in the form
The construction is sublime and the finishes as well
Here you have the interior with white lining, the sweatband is without cracks, but a little fragile, so no picture of the paper label
There are traces of dirt on the lining, but no others faults
On the sweatband the golden G.B. Borsalino fu Lazzaro with the indications of the 1911 Torino prize
It was sold in Milano Grande Cappelleria - Fermo Cabella still existing
It needs some little works, but for the around 100 years it is still in perfect shape
PM if you are interested. The size is good for me and I'm between 59 and 60
