Speaking of fruit, here is my baby. She resides in her own glass box on my dresser, and I don't wear her more than a few times a year. Don't want to lose any cherries! She has 16 bakelite cherries and 8 bakelite "wood" slices on a cellulose chain. She looks like a companion piece to LBD's cherry pin! I have had this for years and it's one of those things that I would rather starve first than sell!

Okay, back to the discussion of our fruit fetishes. I just bought a pair of glass grape cluster earrings, as well as a pair made from brass (to match my brooch.) According to the seller, both pairs were owned by a former Vegas showgirl. Don't know if the story is true, but it is still a good one!

That *is* an amazing necklace!! I've never seen anything like it! I have one of the matching pins too, rather than stealing mine or JBD's you might go scour ebay!! Mine was under $50.
