Thanks, Jake! I am, and they are! Despite the weight, they are actually pretty comfy for anything not exactly resembling exercise. Plus - perhaps unsurprisingly - I received quite a few very positive comments on them.
That's awesome! Glad to hear it.

Has anyone heard of the brand cydwoq?
Actually, the boots are not beautiful, but still I think they are kind of cool.

Huh! I don't dislike any of this. I'm not sure I'd wear 'em, mainly because they're all flat and I can't wear heel-less footwear anymore but I have appreciation for what I'm seeing there on the site.

Which yet again reminds me; Seriously, why ain't we talking about Kreosote boots here?

I don't like boots with laces but for Kreosote's I'd make an exception. Never did handle a pair sadly, as with so many US made things, but from what I'm seeing (and reading online), can't see how I coulda end up disappointed. But they sure do cost a lot. Still, if there's one item of clothing worth the $, it's gotta be boots. More so than the leather jackets, I think.

You're right, this is a mean looking boot!

Real expensive for sure and the wait list is not for everyone. I'm thinking for the price alone one can add some extra dough and get one of those acclaimed clinch engineer or jodhpurs boots

I gotta admit that I’m not that taken with Kreosote. That said, I am watching the development of their Engineer boot with interest.

Those are gorgeous. Lofgren are gym shoe comfortable right out of the box.
Good to hear … I got in on pre order and started researching and hearing about people struggling with fit particularly getting them on in off etc … fingers crossed

Thats 100% dependent on foot volume. I need to put insoles in mine to have them snug enough on the instep. Others need to break them in with the plastic bag trick. Totally user dependent.
