I am pretty impressed with the skill of some guessers here. I didn't want to start with this stumper. but here it is, as it is the only one I have photos of for the moment. There is one way that someone could easily identify this hat if they happened to see it on line somewhere. But other than that, I am guessing this will be a real challenge. if anyone gets it, I will be quite impressed indeed. Sadly, it is 6 7/8. A few hints. Sold by Littler, which is a men's clothing store in Seattle, and is called the Broadmoor. Very unusual treatment of the brim, with stitching all around in about 14 rows.

Based on nothing but the local provenance -- Littler's (they're not still around, are they?) and Broadmoor -- I'll guess it's a Hardeman.

EDIT: By the way, I see the gas can, but where's the mower?

That's a toughie.
Looks beaverish - is it an American brand?

Looks like a dress felt rather than a X designation felt to me.
Could be a Champ or Penneys.

Dress felt rather than beaver, yes. Champ or Penneys, no. :eusa_doh:

Does it say The Broadwoor by Littler?

One side says "The Broadmoor" which seems to be the style name. And the other side says littler Seattle, which is the men's shop mark
