Just had a wonderful call with Shawn, he will remake the jacket, in this same leather. I will not accept it for free. I will say I was wrong about the production/assembly line. They only use that model for orders of 2000 pieces or more. The biggest takeaway for me is that this is the best service I have ever recieved, from any maker, ever.
The is awesome! Great news to kick start the weekend!

I can unfortunately only offer seal and russet in goat. But think that the color is not so different in steer.
Russet (or better milk chocolate)

Does anybody know whether 5* offers their buffalo hide in black, and what the thickness range is?

So my next question is how on earth the 5* sizing works.

I'm currently swooning over the 1930s half belt, which is (I think?) what @ton312 just had, and I'm losing confidence poring over the sizing charts.

I'm a 39 chest and it like a trim fit. What on earth do I want?

Do not take a standard size. It is best if you specify the dimensions that the jacket should have in the end. And pay attention to the collar size sleeves. Since 5* tends rather to large circumference

I would love to see a rich brown like this, these are studio shot abs an indoor shot so I’m not sure what it would look like in the sunshine but that brown has so much depth

This looks much better. Shawn suggested horn buttons at the cuff. Perfect choice!
I’m speechless at how quickly Shawn was able to get this done. Absolutely impeccable customer service. The best I have ever received. Amazing!

Awesome for Shawn to make this right and do it so quickly. You really get the biggest bang for buck with Five Star. As long as you don’t go in expecting the highest quality materials ever and stitch per inch count. You can’t get anything better for the price and Shawn runs it the right way. Very good news.
