I quite like it; gonna need to be stretched slightly. I don't actually have a Mallory yet. Perhaps this is odd, but olive green is becoming my favorite hat color. (If you have blue eyes, it's great -- given that light blue hats are kind of thin on the ground, and generally weird looking.)

This one was actually a weird, mysterious fluke. I had done searches for "Mallory" on ebay a number of times, earlier in the week, and this hat only showed up a few hours before the close of the auction!

But hey, if it does end up way small for me, I'll take it to the trading post and you can give me a 7 1/4 for it...

I'm very glad you snagged it at a superb price. There are many,many that go for low if you just watch. I got all of mine that way. I have an olive green 2" brim too and like it fine.:fedora:
