Alright, I'm not usually someone that changes their clothing becuase of temperature.

Every summer for the past ten years I have worn some sort of heavy felt hat and enjoyed every moment of it.

HOWEVER, as my hat collection is increasing, I'm finding that I need some sort of panama hat. And with summer well on it's way, there's no better time than now to get one, right? I figured I would try a light hat in the heat and see how I like it.

I need your guys' help.

Find me a panama fedora for under $100. I like the bleached white look.

Preferable specs...2 1/2 - 3 in. brim. High, untapered or little tapered crown. Snap brim.

That's all I need...thanks in advance to anyone willing to assist me!

Feraud, which hat is that...and how much did it cost?

That's pretty much the hat I was thinking of when I decided to go for a panama job.

Ok,

So I counted the weaves in Feraud's picture over what I guessed to be a 1 inch line and came up with 17. If you square that then..... 289 weaves per sq inch.

My guess is 300 weaves/sq inch average.

Anyone else want to try that for the sake of comparison?
